Boise Bicycle Project 

The Boise Bicycle Project is a community wide mission to promote the social and environmental benefits of bicycling. They need volunteers to help provide access to affordable bikes, take part in sustainable recycling, and providing educational opportunities to children.

Boise Cultural Directory

The city of Boise includes many arts and cultural institutions that need volunteers to thrive. This directory can get you in touch with many of the cultural organizations across the city.

Boise Rescue Mission Ministries 

The Boise Rescue Mission focus on feeding individuals and families who are hungry and homeless. They have many volunteer opportunities across both Canyon and Ada counties.

Boise Zoo

The Boise Zoo is always looking for volunteers to provide educational programs on conservation efforts.

City of Boise - Volunteering 

The city of Boise is always looking for volunteers to help in many capacities. They need people to help plant trees, work in the community centers, spend time at the senior center, and much more.

Habitat for Humanity 

The Boise Valley branch of Habitat for Humanity needs volunteers to help acquire land, build homes for families, and support the larger community.

Idaho Office for Refugees

The Idaho Office for Refugees is always looking for volunteers to help teach English courses, set up apartments, or sponsor a refugee family.  They work in Boise and in Twin Falls.

Preservation Idaho

Preservation Idaho is a non profit organization that focuses on advocacy for historic landmarks in Idaho. They need volunteers to educate the community and advocate for the protection of threatened sites.
